Scrappy Sewing

I have several works in progress to that I'm back in my sewing room and sewing again!  So I'm posting now to keep on track and link up to WiP Wednesday over at Freshly Pieced!

I just love this block!  It was designed by Elizabeth Dackson of Don't Call Me Betsy and she has a tutorial here.  This one is for the Peace circle of do.Good Stitches.  I think this is going to be a gorgeous quilt!
I liked this block so well that I decided to make more of these.  I'll show them another day...they are almost done.

The other project that is ready to be finished is another for do.Good Stitches.  I asked the ladies for scrappy trip blocks using this tutorial.  This came together so quickly once the blocks were trimmed and laid out.  And I love it!  I think it will make a nice sized quilt for a child.

It is coming along nicely.  It is sandwiched and basted and ready to go on the machine for quilting.  I just have to figure out how to quilt it.  Straight lines?  Stipple?  I have to figure this out quick because I want to quilt it today!

As I mentioned above, I actually have other projects going on right now as many works, so little time!  I'll be looking forward to finishing one (or more!) of these to show soon!

Have a wonderful day!

For perhaps he departed for a while for this purpose, that you might receive him forever, no longer as a slave but more than a slave—a beloved brother, especially to me but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord. ~Philemon 1:15-16

love, Lisa
